Cirquolus buying guide
What to look for in asset management software
Evaluate assignment, check-in and check-out, service requests, consumables and asset visibility across company locations.
Begin with ownership and location
An asset register is useful only when people can answer who has an item and where it belongs. Prepare examples of assets assigned to employees, held in a depot and moved between locations. Include the identifiers and records you already use so the demo follows your actual tracking process.
Follow the asset through a handover
Ask to see check-out, check-in and assignment changes. Consider what happens when an employee changes branch or leaves the business. Decide who records the handover, what evidence is needed and who reviews an exception. Those responsibilities matter as much as the list of assets.
Include maintenance and consumables
Show how your team raises service requests, schedules engineering work and works with vendors. If assets use consumables or parts, include that process too. Cirquolus includes fixed asset workflows, consumables, service requests, engineering work, vendor service, depot, valuation, trip management and booking.
Confirm the scope across locations
For many companies or branches, specify which team should see and update each record. Decide whether asset audits belong in the first phase. Ask for a rollout proposal that covers data cleanup, imports, permissions and training, then add the connected workflows your operation needs.
