Cirquolus buying guide
Choosing payroll software for a Philippine business
A practical checklist for evaluating attendance, payroll approvals, adjustments, payslips and a rollout across branches.
Start with a real cutoff
Use a recent payroll period as your demo scenario. List where attendance comes from, which adjustments are made and who approves the result. A payroll demonstration is more useful when it follows your actual cutoff rather than a clean sample with no exceptions.
Check attendance and approval handoffs
Ask how work schedules, overtime, leave, time adjustments and approval stages reach payroll. Show the vendor a late attendance correction and an employee transfer. Confirm which information your team must enter, review or import, and who is allowed to change it.
Evaluate the work after computation
Payroll does not end with a number. Check approved payroll lists, payslip access, statutory payment workflows and annualization. Ask the team to demonstrate your current rules and reporting requirements, and confirm configuration with the people responsible for payroll before rollout.
Plan one branch before the wider rollout
Agree on the employee data to migrate, who validates it and how the first payroll will be checked. For several companies or branches, map the company structure and access before training. Cirquolus can start with payroll and add HRIS, timekeeping and employee self-service as needed.
